All I wanted to investigate was the writer who sent the Death Threat letter to my father. Not having the knowledge of whom to approach on this issue and while I was misguided to learn Graphology saying that Graphology would help me in finding the author of that Death Letter, I realised that there is something else that I am looking for! I also realised that Graphology is not about Questioned Document Examination and I chose to get trained in the field of Questioned Document Examination. I got the in-house practical training from senior expert Mr. VC Mishra – New Delhi for over 2 years and later was certified by American Institute of Applied Science in the course of Questioned Document Examination.

I became the 5th Indian to be an active member of International Association for Identification and with a Certificate in Fingerprint Examination and Questioned Document Examination from National PG College – Autonomous College under Lucknow University, I was the youngest court appointed commissioner in the field of Questioned Document Examination and Fingerprint Examination.

In 2013, a senior person approached me to help him in a Signature Examination case of a WILL of his father which was questioned before the court of law. I soon realised that there is already a Forensic Report issued by the Karnataka State FSL and I was approached to help him in cross examination of the Expert of State FSL. While the cross examinations can only be conducted by the Advocates, I prepared the set of Questions to help his advocate for the further process. After going through the list of Questions, the advocate confidently said that he will not be able to conduct this cross examination as this is purely a technical matter and he may not be able to pose any follow up questions.

The ‘ball was in my court’ again to find a solution to this old person and I was successful in finding a solution to this situation. I found a ‘CASE LAW’ which permits an Expert to cross examine another Expert and accordingly helped the advocate to move the application before the court which also was allowed. For the first time in the practice of the courts here, such order was passed and I effectively conducted the cross examination to the extent that the report given by the expert of the Karnataka State FSL was dismissed.

With the above case, I enrolled to become a Lawyer with the fact that a person who knows the Forensics and Law can effectively guide the court in the right direction of the Truth and got graduated LLB from Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. I took up Masters in Law – LLM from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh and specialised in Torts and Crimes. I am an alumini of National Law School of India University, Bengaluru for the course on PGDCLCF – Cyber Law and Cyber Forensics.

From the year 2017, I have been practicing as Advocate and exclusively appearing for the matters which involves the question of Techno-Legal aspects.

Cyber Security Expert:

I have been in the environment of Digital forensics and Investigation of Digital Devices since 2011 and had been very passionate on learning different aspects of the Digital Domain. With the ongoing nature of crimes and realising the need for designing effective networks and strong cyber policies, I enrolled for an academic course in M.Sc. - Cyber Security. It did not take me much time to get familiar with the subjects as I was already involved in several topics due to my engagement as a Forensic Expert. With this background, today I am being engaged for Network Audits, WEB audits, to design the Cyber policies and IT Policies for corporates and to mitigate the Techno / Legal issues related to Cyber Forensics and Cyber Laws.

While I had to investigate the author of an Anonymous letter written to my Father, I landed up in enrolling myself to a course on Graphology even without knowing if I really wanted to be a Graphologist! However, while analysing the Handwriting samples I developed keen interest in understanding the Human Behaviour and especially the factors behind such behaviours. Being a graphologist, I have done counselling to different categories of the people and especially for the compatibility & career counselling. I was also involved in several projects on analysis of Children’s learning abilities & Learning dis-abilities, teenage issues, Child and Parent related issues etc. These exposures gave me a lot of interest on the subject of Psychology.

I have been trained to conduct the ‘Lie Detection Test’ from Truth Verification Centre, South Africa with the help of Voice Polygraph Technology. Indeed, I was the first to use this tool in India and extended my professional service to several investigation related to Police and various corporates. Learning is a continuous process and I am keen in advancing my skills and knowledge which can be used for real-time investigations. Forensic Linguistics and Emotional Intelligence are very rare tools which are actually adopted in investigations and I am one of the very few experts who has expertise on these topics here in India.

Working closely with several top Field Investigators and with several Police Officers and Intelligence officers in various investigations, the skill of investigation was further mentored by people around me. Having the sense of Psychology, Forensics, IT, Cyber Security and Law gives me an unparallel advantage in any investigation cases. I have been the lead investigator and consultant in several internal investigations of the MNCs in conducting cases related to Harassment, Kick-back, Data Theft, IPR, Frauds, Pilferage, Misusing of the Funds etc.

While several of such investigations has resulted in terminating the wrong-doer, there are also significant number of Court cases which are filed against the wrong-doers. Having solved several such cases, I was also successful in un-earthing, Investigating, Interviewing the fraud of over 5000 crores of a MNC together with numerous cases where the investigation findings are used as a Evidence for Prosecution before the court of Law.
